Abstract
Injectable Microgels Inspired by the phenomenon where islands could recruit seabirds for nesting, in article number 2105084, Xiaoji Luo, Wenguo Cui, Wei Huang, and co-workers present an injectable porous microgel generated via microfluidic technology that is non-covalently loaded with PDGF-BB and TGF-β3, forming “cell island” microgels that can serve as a temporary “nest site” to recruit endogenous stem cells and presents a promising therapeutic effect for osteoarthritic cartilage damage.
