Abstract
The aim of the article is to present the scientific profile of Professor Stefan Morawski on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of birth. I present the basic stages of Prof. Morawski's scientific development. I complement it with the main solutions and proposals, which prof. Morawski brought to philosophy, phi-losophy of culture, aesthetics and theory and art criticism. I also attempt to take into account the bio-graphical elements that influenced Stefan Morawski's life and decisions. This is especially true in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
