Abstract

The Bureau of Health Manpower Education recently announced that it will fund a study of the feasibility of establishing a national system of certification for health personnel. Dietetic and nutrition services are among the principal fields to be addressed in the study, to be conducted by the Institute of Public Administration. Thus, this broad discussion of credentialing takes on added importance in the light of current developments.
