Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the level of statistics anxiety among undergraduate students, and whether the level is influenced by factors such as gender and age. A sample of 100 third year students who enrolled for basic statistics in the University of Calabar was used for the study. A series of t-tests revealed that the sampled students displayed significantly high level of statistics anxiety; and no factor differences. Recommendations were made accordingly. Limitation included the non-generalizability of results.Keywords: Statistics of Anxiety, Undergraduate and Education Students
