Statistics of anxiety among undergraduate students in the Faculty of Education, University of Calabar, Nigeria

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the level of statistics anxiety among undergraduate students, and whether the level is influenced by factors such as gender and age. A sample of 100 third year students who enrolled for basic statistics in the University of Calabar was used for the study. A series of t-tests revealed that the sampled students displayed significantly high level of statistics anxiety; and no factor differences. Recommendations were made accordingly.
