Abstract

• A new method for analyzing the spatial segregation of points was developed. • Two measures are introduced that indicate the dissimilarity of point composition and its temporal change. • The measures are visualized as maps that are effective for grasping the spatial pattern and temporal change of segregation. • The measures are also used for statistical tests that permit us to detect significant local patterns.
