Abstract

A new, complete, integral equation-based formulation for the computation of stationary current distribution in multimaterial, multibody, massive conductors is proposed and compared with other classical integral formulations. Furthermore, simple equivalence allows this method to treat pure Neumann problems without the need for regularization. Examples of complex bus-bar systems in power transformers are provided, and finite-element method comparisons attest to the strength of this method. Generalization to a fully symmetric formulation is also discussed
