Abstract
A model of a solid-state laser with a crystal-based active medium and an anisotropic absorber is proposed. Results of a theoretical investigation of steady states with linearly polarized radiation and of the influence of the parameters of a saturable absorber on these states are given. The possibility of transition between different generation regimes in the case of rotation of the absorber about the optical cavity axis that coincides with the direction of propagation of light is demonstrated.
