Abstract

We report stationary Hermite-Gaussian (HG) solitons for nonlinear Schrödinger equation with complex potential. It is found that complex potential exhibits parity-time (PT) symmetry property for specific choice of gain function and corresponding solutions are quite stable compared to the one for non-PT potential. Our exact analysis takes recourse to construct one parameter family of complex potentials using isospectral Hamiltonian approach and thus enabling one to control the behaviour of HG solitons.
