Abstract
This paper provides an overview, current status, and selected preliminary findings of a study being conducted by The Tauri Group on investment in commercial space in the 21st century, Start-Up Space. The study includes investments in space companies by angel investors, venture capital firms, private equity groups, banks, corporations, and others. This paper highlights preliminary findings on the level of investment activity since 2000, types of investor, and typical investments.
