Standards and Accreditation Timelines 2022–2023

Abstract

To reflect the constantly evolving changes in health care, aviation, and safety, the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) strives to update the CAMTS Accreditation Standards every 2 to 3 years. The 11th edition of the CAMTS standards became effective in October 2018 and although the past 2 years were complicated with pandemic challenges, the board was able to address several important changes in the standards and approve the 12th edition at the July 2022 board meeting.
