Abstract

Doris I. Miller, Professor and Assistant Dean, School of Nursing, University of California, San Francisco, received a B.A. degree from Augustana College, Sloux Falls, South Dakota and R.N. from St. Marys Hospital School of Nursing, Rochester, Minnesota, and an M.Ed. from the University of Minnesota, Mineapolis, in addition to her current assignment, Miss Miller serves as Consultant, Nursing Administration, for the Yuberana Administration Hospitals in San Francisco and Palo Alto. She is active in the professional organizations, is a member of the Special Committee of WCHEN on Education for Nursing Service Administration, has authored a number of articles and papers on nursing and related topics, and serves as a member of the Editorial Board for JONA.
