Abstract
Background The paper discusses the experience of the introduction and development of periodic gaslift technologies at the fields of Vietsovpetro JV. Aims and Objectives Analysis of the periodic gaslift effectiveness in the conditions of Vietsovpetro JV. Results The experience of periodic operation of marginal wells confirmed the efficiency of transfer of low-yield gaslift wells to periodic operation, both by increasing the flow rate of the well and reducing the specific gas consumption, and by preventing parafin deposits in the lift. Based on the analysis results of the operating gaslift wells, it is recommended to transfer to the periodic operating mode of a well with a high specific flow rate of gaslift gas (> 1000) and water-oil factor (> 20 %) with a relatively low flow rate (≤ 3-5 tons/day).
