Abstract

ABSTRACT In this paper, sufficient conditions for stability and complete stability of equilibrium of a mixed distributed and lumped parameter feed-back control system are established. The system is in the form of a parabolic partial differential equation coupled with a set of first-order non-linear ordinary differential equations. The results represent generalizations of those obtained earlier by the author (Wang 1966).
