Abstract

This paper deals with the problems of exponential stability and proportion-integral (PI) controller design for singular networked control system (NCS) with time-varying delay and packet dropout compensator. The considered state feedback singular NCS is modeled as an asynchronous dynamical system (ADS) constrained by event rates. Based on the theory of ADS, Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality method, the semi-negative definite matrix conditions of exponential stability for singular NCS with time-varying delay and packet dropout compensator is derived. Furthermore, the observation compensator and the PI controller design method are proposed. Finally, numerical example shows that the stability conditions, the observation compensator and the PI controller design method are feasible.
