Abstract
This paper deals with the problems of stability and L 1-gain analysis for a class of continuous-time switched positive T–S fuzzy systems with time-varying delay by implying average dwell time switching signals. Firstly, by implying the multiple linear co-positive Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and average dwell time methods, some sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the exponential stability of switched positive T–S fuzzy systems with time-varying delay. Then, the weighted L 1-gain performance is investigated for the system considered. Finally, a real-world example about the Lotka–Volterra population model is given to demonstrate the validity of the main results.
