Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain more new and precise knowledge and information of sport performance, which can be applied in sport praxis. METHODS: Sixty five young athletes and PE students (42 males and 23 females; mean age 21,2 yr old, ranging from 15 to 25 yr.) were recorded by two synchronized video cameras in different postures and sport movements. This allows to create three dimensional space, which is real and suitable for understanding of posture and movement quality. Three dimensional biomechanical analysis and software Simi motion 3D permits to obtain exact values of kinetic parameters. They are trajectories, angles, velocities and accelerations of each body segment. These main segments (points, joints) were analysed: head, left arm, right arm, left elbow, right elbow, left wrist, right wrist, left hip, right hip, left knee, right knee, left ankle, right ankle. RESULTS: Mostly posture of body, movements patterns and individual sport technique are stabilized at age of 15 and kinetic characteristics of one person have very common values. While we can recognise interesting differences among tested athletes and PE students, we could also confirm some basic phases of kinetic chain, which were done in the same or similar way. Although final movements and their precisions are comparable and almost the same, sport technique and individual posture are realised.by specific ways. CONCLUSIONS: 3D biomechanical analysis is an excellent mean for diagnostics of body posture, recreational movement and sport technique. Further, it is worth to have individual access to everybody and improve personal style.
