Abstract
Research Article| March 01 2014 St. Petersburg Matthew Picton Matthew Picton Matthew Picton studied Politics at The London School of Economics. He has exhibited as an artist since 1998, with many solo shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, New York, and, recently London. His work will be included in the 2014 Paper Biennial in the Rijks Museum, The Hague, Holland, and are held in the collections of the De Young Museum (San Francisco), New York University, The Herbert Museum of Art (Coventry, UK), and The Dresden Museum (Germany). He has published reviews and articles in Art Forum, Art News, Art Ltd, ARTillery and Artweek, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Los Angeles Times, Der Stern Magazine, Blueprint magazine, and The Independent, among others. He is currently represented by Summaria Lunn Gallery in London, Toomey Tourell in San Francisco, and The Elizabeth Leach Gallery in Portland, Oregon. His website is www.matthewpicton.com.
