Abstract

Different SrS:0.03Eu2+, 0.03Dy3+ nanostructures (including nanoflower, nano hollow sphere and rod-like porous nanostructure) were successfully synthesized by a microemulsion method together with post-annealing process. The photoluminescence and afterglow properties of these nanostructures were investigated. The evolution of morphology and the relation between morphology and the afterglow property were discussed. The results indicated that the material instable in solution could also be synthesized in nanoscale by microemulsion method together with post annealing.
