Abstract

The aforementioned study is based on determining the status of the concept of continuity in terms of Turkish dialects and examining its appearance in front, inner and final phonemes in Altai, Khakas and Tuva Turkish, which are the Northeast group Turkish dialects. The data of the study were collected with the document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, and the words with discontinuous consonants (stop consonants) from the Old Turkish period were determined and their situation in the Northeastern group of Turkish dialects was examined. In the study, comparative and diachronic grammar method was applied and a small sample of the changes in the front, inner and final sounds of the examined sounds was given in the study. The results obtained in the study are given in the "Conclusion" section, and the sources used are in the "References" section.
