Abstract

AbstractRheumatoid arthritis (RA) or its treatment with methotrexate has been associated with a higher incidence of lymphoma. We describe a 59‐year‐old white female diagnosed with ulcerative rectocolitis associated with deforming RA, refractory to various medications, who developed squamous cell carcinoma of the skin (SCC) after prolonged use of cyclosporin. To our knowledge, this represents the first reported case of SCC induced by the use of cyclosporin in a patient with RA.
