Abstract

Abstract Granular applications were made on May 9 and 10 with a 2-feet wide Scotts No. 75 applicator on 10 feet by 12 feet plots on a bluegrass golf course at Hastings, NE. Treatments were replicated 3 times in a randomized complete block design. Rainfall and irrigation following treatment provided ample soil moisture and should have washed the insecticides into the soil. One June 7-11, immediately before pupation, six 7 x 7 inch sod samples, 5 inch thick, were removed from each plot to determine white grub and earthworm densities.
