<h2>Abstract</h2> The cause, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of pyelocaliceal diverticula are discussed briefly. The first reported case of spontaneous rupture of a pyelocaliceal diverticulum containing calculi is presented. The possibility we are dealing with an abnormally formed calyx is considered.
