Abstract
Abstract The influence of L- α-alanine admixture in TGS crystals on the values of spontaneous polarization, coercive field and bias field was investigated for different concentrations of the admixture and for different conditions of the crystal growth, L-α-alanine admixture was found to be in homogeneoualy built into the crystal and to be responsible for unipolar hysteresis loops appearance with the characteristic bias field. With increasing concentration of the admixture the values of coercive field and bias field increase.
