Abstract
This article gives the results of a survey of patients with spinal cord injuries from a general practice perspective. The purpose was to investigate the extent of GP involvement in managing spinal cord injured patients. The results demonstrated that complex clinical issues of spinal cord injury commonly confront GPs. This has important implications for rehabilitation programmes and primary and community health-care teams
