Abstract
Abstract The dynamical and thermodynamical properties of a ferromagnetic binary alloy with two atoms per unit cell is studied in the Heisenberg model in order to find the effects of the optical branch on the thermodynamics and the correspondence between the spin-wave states in a simple metal (B non-magnetic or equal to A) and in alloy. The L12 structure is also studied and general conclusions have been drawn for the thermodynamical quantities.
