Abstract
A nondestructive method for the investigation of the Kirkendall effect in magnetic multilayer films, based on spin wave resonance measurements, is proposed. Numerical calculations show a characteristic influence of the relative movement of the paramagnetic and ferromagnetic species on the field positions of bulk resonance peaks.
