Abstract
We have observed spin-resolved photoelectron spectra of valence band and 3 p and 3 s core levels of Ni including the whole satellites. It is shown that the spectral profiles of the satellite structures of both core levels and valence band are qualitatively reproduced by the atomic model where the ground state consists of 3 d 8, 3 d 9 and 3 d 10 configurations.
