Abstract
The spin polarization P and spin polarization parameters T and U and elastic differential cross sections are calculated for the elastic scattering of electrons from germane (GeH4) molecules at incident energies up to 300 eV using a relativistic Dirac equation. The results presented here in this energy region should be considered as a case study. A significant amount of spin polarization is noticed in the scattered beam at various scattering angles and could be measured experimentally. The calculated angular distributions show a reasonably good agreement with the measured values.
