Abstract

AbstractAn analysis is made of high‐temperature thermal conduction (above the Debye temperature) of a paramagnetic crystal in the conditions of exciting coupled spin–phonon modes. It is shown that the rearrangement of crystal spectra connected with these excitations changes drastically the character of heat carriers that may lead to considerable anomalies in the temperature behaviour of thermal conduction of a crystal formed by paramagnetic ions.
