Abstract

Spin nematic order is investigated for a spin-1 bilinear-biquadratic model on triangular lattice. We studied an antiferro nematic order with three-sublattice structure, and particularly the effects of quantum fluctuation at zero temperature. We have calculated several magnetic quantities and discussed the dependence of the coupling parameters in order to explain many of characteristic features of recently discovered spin liquid state in the triangular magnet, NiGa 2 S 4 .
