Abstract
The object of description in this paper are names of cakes, cookies and desserts, excerpted from culinary recipes published in Internet sources (Internet cookery books, web portals and blogs, Youtube channel), which are motivated by a semantic reference to the demon of evil – devil. Apart from the semantic motivation of terms (which is more complex than the motivation of other “devilish” names of dishes), their form and status in the Polish language have been analysed.
