Abstract

AbstractThe effect of intermolecular interactions on the spectroscopy and photoreactivity of atmospheric trace gases is investigated. We have characterized effects resulting from solvation in a complex or condensed phase using a combination of spectroscopic and photofragment studies. Specific examples discussed include chlorine dioxide, the ozone‐water complex, and the oxygen dimer.
