Abstract

Selenium was injected into the plasma of the Texas Experimental Tokamak by laser ablation. Spectra of Se ions stripped to the n = 3 shell were observed photographically with a 2.2-m vacuum spectrograph. Classifications of 60 lines arising from K-like to Na-like ions were determined. A wavelength accuracy of ±0.010 A was obtained by calibration with internally generated Fe spectra.
