Abstract
The article analyzes the published in 2019 “The Way of Urbanizing China' by professor Liu Shilin. The European and American urbanization models have a great influence in the world. The PRC's urbanization is deeply influenced by them, but the process of China's urbanization is significantly faster than that of Europe and America. In addition, China's unique political system, state system, history, and cultural tradition have led to a characteristic historical process of urbanization in PRC and a unique Chinese style of urbanization.
