Abstract

This article provides a review of research conducted between 2000 and 2020 about special education in Christian schools in the United States. The article reflects information and research articles along with dissertations published during the time period. The Ebsco Database©. And ProQuest Digital Dissertations and Theses Global© database were used for publication searches. A total of 42 articles and 26 dissertations published between the given years were identified. Non-research articles were grouped into six topic areas: (a) theological/biblical, (b) narrative and positional, (c) positional and legal, (d) legal, and (e) program development and or special education models. Research articles and dissertations were coded and themed based upon the authors’ research findings and suggestions for further research.
