Abstract
Beaches are important elements of coastal systems, providing wave attenuation and protection of coastal territories. This article presents the results of a study on the spatial variability of beach deposits in the coastal zone of the State Nature Reserve "Utrish." The work utilizes both field and remote sensing data. It was established that pebble and gravel-pebble accumulative beaches prevail in the coastal zone. The current width of the beach ranges from 5 to 50 meters, with a noticeable predominance of areas less than 12 meters wide. Gravitational coastal processes have a significant impact on the supply of beach-forming material to the coastal zone of the "Utrish" reserve.
