Abstract
This paper proposes an adaptive protocol for Alamoutipsilas-coded cooperative wireless communications with a Decode-and-forward (DF) protocol for signal transmission. The cooperation criterion is based on the confidence of channel links, by which the cooperation strategy with the maximum signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is selected. The proposed scheme achieves the maximum diversity and lower probability of error in comparison with existing protocols. Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme significantly outperforms the existing protocols.
