Abstract
The article highlights the issues of improving the methods of economic education of workers in the conditions of their daily working life in the 1970s. Based on the archival documents discovered by the authors, the main direction of increasing the level of economic knowledge of the working people is the training of propaganda personnel for all forms of economic education. The result of the activities of propagandists was the use by workers of creative approaches to work, the development of personal plans for improving their work activities, the development and implementation of group counter plans.
