Abstract

ABSTRACT
Gemek Kedungwuni Field, located in front of SMA 1 Kedungwuni, Pekalongan Regency, is a large public area with a number of MSMEs actively selling in it. Unfortunately, most of them have yet to complete their business legality in the form of a Business Identification Number (NIB) and Halal certificate. Many businesses feel that the process of obtaining these documents is complicated and time-consuming. In order to support the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, assistance with NIB registration and socialization of the importance of halal certificates is a very important step. The main objective of this activity is to increase the understanding and awareness of MSME players regarding NIB registration procedures and the urgency of halal certification in expanding market share. The methods applied include observation, counseling, and direct assistance to MSME players in the field. It is hoped that the results of this activity can increase the number of registered MSMEs and obtain halal certificates, and make a positive contribution to improving the overall quality of MSME products. The conclusion of this activity indicates that NIB assistance and halal certificate socialization have a significant positive impact in advancing the MSME sector in Indonesia.
