Abstract

The Ministry of Health and UNICEF survey of more than 5,300 health facilities in Indonesia showed that 84% of children's immunization services were disrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Regular reports from the Padang City Health Office As of February 2021 the average achievement of Complete Basic Immunization only reached 62.6% with a target of 95%, even though the immunization program was provided free of charge by the government at the Puskesmas and Posyandu. This community service facilitates health workers and cadres in disseminating information related to child immunization schedules and other health information. The Service Method is a mixed method by observing problems and designing needs and having webinars using zoom meetings. The result of the service activity is the design of the SMS Gateway-based Smart Immunization system to be one that can remind parents and make it easier for officers to record reporting, as well as an evaluation for policy makers in monitoring immunization achievements every month. The design of the application is also worthy of being developed by integrating with other applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Email. From the results of this service, it is hoped that it can be used as input and consideration in making an immunization schedule reminder application and disseminating other health information for parents and the community Keywords: Immunization, Information, Reminder, Covid-19, Padang City
