Abstract

The hospital is a means of health services to the community. For this reason, the hospital isrequired to be able to improve its performance according to the growth and influence of theenvironment in order to be able to provide quality services. Patients define quality and effectiveservice if the service is comfortable, pleasant and the staff is friendly, which overall gives theimpression of satisfaction to the patient, is admitted to the hospital in a sick state and thedischarge becomes cured. Meanwhile, from the service provider, it means quality and efficientservice if the service is in accordance with government standards. The medical records section isone part that is very related in providing services to patients. In order to provide quality service topatients, medical record officers need guidance in providing these services. One of the guidelinesfor medical record officers in providing services is the Minister of Health Regulation Number: 129/ SK / II / 2008 concerning minimum hospital service standards. For this reason, it is necessary tocarry out socialization activities to add information or knowledge of medical record officers to theguidelines in providing services to patients. The results of this socialization activity will be able toassist medical record officers in providing services to patients so that what patients want in healthcare can be fulfilled. It is suggested to the medical records department of the hospital to make aguideline for every activity related to medical record services to patients
