Abstract

Fundamental features of sorption equilibrium of binary nitrogen-oxygen, N2- O2, mixtures such as concentration dependences of thermodynamic functions are described for a representative sample of Li,RareEarth-LSX zeolite, Li,RE-LSX, a BOC Proprietary O2 PVSA sorbent. Sorption isotherms of mixtures at conditions of constant sorption-phase compositions were calculated from primary experimental caloric data. They were compared with related results from model predictions.
