Abstract

The problems of the international socialist division of labor are among the most urgent theoretical and practical problems. The Declaration of the 1957 Conference of Representatives of Communist and Workers' Parties of Socialist Countries stressed the special importance of consolidating the unity and fraternal cooperation of the socialist states. The necessity of steadily improving the international division of labor was also pointed out in the Statement of the 1960 Conference of Representatives of Communist and Workers' Parties. The Program of the CPSU adopted at the 22nd Party Congress calls upon the communist parties of the socialist countries to join efforts in developing the international socialist division of labor.
