Some integration problems of organizational decision support systems

Abstract

In the rapidly changing environment it is a very important task to improve the adaptiveness of the organizations. The first section shows that the conditions of the adaptiveness are the adequate structure of the user modifiable DSS on the one hand and the built-in storage of the data of the organizational decisionmaking system’s structure on the other. The accomplishment of these conditions will provide a long-term adaptiveness of the organization by the aid of strategical decisions. The second section deals with the effects of uncertain and uncontrolled data getting in the KB on the ODSS and on the organization respectively. Finally the third section gives a possible step-by-step integration procedure of the ODSS.
