Abstract
It surprised many people that Australia became directly involved in the current Gulf crisis so quickly. With so many developments in so short a time, it is likely some of the important indicators to have come from this involvement so far will be lost in the minutiae of detail surrounding the actual operation. This article considers some of those indicators and what cannot already be termed ‘lessons’.
