Abstract

Summary A study of the relationship between four measures of fantasy capacity to adjustment to paraplegia and to some other experimental variables, such as education, intelligence, etc., provided empirical support for some aspects of the postulated theoretical linkage of the Rorschach human movement (M) response to thought, action, and delay capacity. For example, empirical support was found for the basic Rorschach hypothesis that the projection of movement is related to kinesthetic imagery; and for the hypothesis that M may be considered a measure of the delay function of the ego.
