Abstract
A new coordination polymer {[Cd(3,4-pbc)2]·DMF}n(1) (3, 4-pbc = 3-pyrid-4-yl- benzole acid, and DMF = N, N-dimethyl formamide) was obtained by solvothermal reaction and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 is a three-dimensional frameworks with bcu topological net. Furthermore, the luminescent property of 1 is investigated in the solid state at room temperature.
