Abstract

In this study, the path planning problem for UAVs has been investigated. Out goal was finding a method to go from the source to the target point in the shortest time and the shortest route. A mathematical programming model that takes into account the environmental safety conditions has been developed and solved with the MBO algorithm. MBO algorithm [2] gives better results than simulated annealing, tabu search, genetic algorithm, scatter search, particle swarm optimization, differential evolution and guided evolutionary simulated annealing approaches, as stated in a previous study [2].
