Abstract

The study of paleosols formed on slope deposits in the region of Toulouse has enabled the authors to complete the chronostratigraphy of the adjacent loess. The importance of the Late Quaternary deposits, linked to hydric erosion, is recognised and the absence of periglacial forms and cryostructures is noted. A correlation of the periods of pedogenesis and the known interstades of Wurm III and IV is proposed.
