Abstract
Solid–liquid equilibria in the binary systems, propanoic acid–acetic acid and propanoic acid–trifluoroacetic acid, were measured by a synthetic method. A solid compound (1:1) was found in the propanoic acid–trifluoroacetic acid system. The obtained activity coefficients were successfully fitted by the Wilson equation.
